Cycle One Allongé

The Allongé Program is a 1-year modified secondary program which precedes the regular Secondary Cycle 1 curriculum.  Eligible students have attained a minimum of a Grade 3 level in English and Math.

Students in this spend three years in Cycle 1 (as opposed to two years).  The first year in focuses on reviewing basic elementary level concepts and skills in order to prepare them for regular Grade 7 and 8 programs in the following two years. 

Curriculum adaptations are made for each student according to their individual needs.
