The EMSB is the only English public school board serving the Anglophone population of the city of Montreal and its municipalities and boroughs.
The EMSB is divided into two regions;
East region contains Ahuntsic-Cartierville, Outremont, Villeray—St-Michel—Parc-Extension, Le Plateau Mont-Royal, Ville-Marie, Rosemont—La Petite-Patrie, Mercier—Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, St. Leonard, Anjou, Montreal North, Rivière-des-Prairies—Pointe-aux-Trembles and Montreal East.
West region contains Town of Mount Royal, Côte-des-Neiges—Notre-dame-de-Grâce, St. Laurent, Côte St. Luc, Westmount, Hampstead, Sud-Ouest and Montreal West
