Santé Publique has contacted the Principal of FACE School downtown to tell her that the 40 students and two staff who just returned from a trip to Paris and Barcelona should remain home for 14 days as part of the Coronavirus protocol. No other directives were given for any other school trips to Europe.

The Commission scolaire de Montréal and the English Montreal School Board have complied with the directive. There were 10 EMSB students and one staff on the trip.

The EMSB wishes to reiterate that it is following all directives from Santé Publique. In a conference call on Wednesday, Santé Publique officials told the EMSB Directorate that each situation continues to be evaluated case by case.

Anyone with questions regarding the Coronavirus should call 811.
